A story for anyone who has ever been told they are not good enough, LVJ follows the adventures of Roy Vincent, an office bound British agent who longs for a life of adventure but even when he lands a job with the world’s most secret Government agency, still ends up stuck behind a desk.
When the Earth is threatened with an attack by an alien race known as the 'Veranyi', the Government mass a fleet of spacecraft in orbit to try and defend the planet and Vincent desperately wants to get in on the action. Unfortunately when he gets given a dead end recon assignment it looks like he’s destined once again to be on the sidelines. That is until he accidentally stumbles upon Frankie and Joey, two New York detectives, abducted in 1974 by the Veranyi, and now been dumped back on Earth. After only a short time with the two cops it's obvious
Now together, the three may turn out to be Earth’s last hope, which is a worry as Frankie and Joey aren’t exactly New York’s finest and Vincent is more use with a staple gun than a real one. |

to Vincent why the Veranyi hate humans. If they had spent the last 30 years with these two, he can’t blame them for wanting to invade.
