Chris Taylor
Director / VFX Supervisor / Writer / Editor

Chris has worked in the CGI (computer graphics imagery) and visual effects industry for over 15 years and is responsible for bringing the wildly imagined visual effects sequences of LVJ to life. Having worked on a wide array of projects from succesful TV shows such as Doctor Who, That Mitchell and Webb Look and Hounded right through to the biggest budget blockbusters such as Elizabeth – The Golden Age and 10,000 BC, Chris has the ability to deliver big budget production values within a limited budget. His skill and experience was recently recognized with a BAFTA nomination for visual effects for his work on the innovative BBC comedy show The Wrong Door (2008) and he is also the recipient of two Royal Television Society Awards for Visual Effects.

Mark Shields
Producer / Actor / Composer
 Mark has worked for over 12 years in the film and media industry in a wide range of disciplines, most notably as a producer and a composer. He's been part of a number of successful independent films including producing and composing on the multi-award winning 35mm short Dutch Bird, starring David Kelly. Recently he was credited alongside Morgan Freeman for special thanks on the international award winning feature Strength and Honour starring Michael Madsen. As a composer Mark has scored projects as varied as concert hall works, commercials and documentaries through to short and feature length films working with such companies as MGM, Virgin and HMV and his composing was recently recognized with a Webby Honoree for the critically acclaimed Second World War interactive movie, Meyer’s Hill. Mark is also a director of UK based production company Atlantic Picture Company with co-producer Kirk Weddell. Alongside finishing post production on LVJ he is currently producing the thriller Storage for Atlantic with director Matt Winn and set to star Madeline Zima as well as guiding two other features for Atlantic and two television series.

David Le-May
Producer / Cinematographer
 A cinematographer working worldwide for the last 12 years, David began his career shooting music videos, low budget commercials and short films as well as working on UK television shows such as Bad girls and The Discovery channel's Air Crash Unsolved. Since then he has shot more than 20 short films, 12 Music videos for European MTV and Channel U and several feature films including Wasted on the Young, Fated and In the Name of God. His work on short films has been recognized with multiple awards and nominations for Dutch Bird and Ronan's Escape. David has shot on location all over the world and is currently in demand as a Director of Photography in Australia, shooting on prestigious drama The Circuit 2, SBS series mY generation and the recent TV drama series Castaway. His cinematic work will be seen again shortly on the forthcoming feature film . He is the recipient of two coveted gold awards from the Australian Society of Cinematographers. Having spent the last few years filming round the globe, David now resides permanently in Australia.

Phil Barron
Writer
 Phillip Barron has had six feature films produced including Just for the Record (Danny Dyer, Rik Mayall, Sean Pertwee, Victoria Silvstedt, Steven Berkoff), K (Tamar Hassan, Colin Salmon) and The Evolved (from Troma Entertainment); wrote the screen story for Exposé (Jane March, Anna Brecon, Billy Murray, Colin Salmon) and script edited Night Junkies. In addition to feature films Phill wrote for BBC Three's BAFTA and Rose d'Or nominated sketch show The Wrong Door, co-wrote sitcom pilot That Band (Bruce Jones, Lee Otway, Claire King), has written numerous short films, including Karma Magnet (Gary Kemp, Adele Silva) and has been a regular and prolific contributor to satirical revues The Treason Show and NewsRevue.

Brian Best
Creature FX Supervisor
 Brian has over 14 years experience in the Creature Effects and Model Making industry, working on many of the largest budget films to ever be filmed in the UK. His credits range from early work on Gladiator and The Mummy through several of the Harry Potter films and the Batman franchise reboot up to the recent blockbusters such as John Carter of Mars, Prometheus and Clash of The Titans. Brian led the batsuit team on Batman Begins creating the amazing suits worn by Christian Bale. Along with his extensive experience creating creatures, he has also worn his own creations on camera, appearing as a Mummy in The Mummy Returns and a zombie in Shaun of the Dead. His experience has put him at the top of his industry and his creations for LVJ helped elevate the film to a whole different level. He continues his spirit of giving back to filmmakers in the industry with his incredible free pages on facebook, Advanced Mould Making Design and Casting Techniques explaining in detail how he created many of his extraordinary creations and he is currently working on a book to accompany the web site.
