While Brian Best worked on the alien prosthetics, a colleague of his from the industry, Mark Jones, joined the team to design and create a costume for them.

He began by working up a whole bunch of sketches showing a variety of possibilities and directions that he was thinking of going down. The production team went over these designs and selected elements from each that we liked and this became the basis for the hero costume. Mark then proceeded to fabricate the costume out of an assortment of materials. The result was fantastic and a perfect compliment to the prosthetic masks that Brian had produced.

Mark also stepped up to play one of the aliens himself during a shootout that takes place in a dark and misty forest.
